Abstract:
T o invest igate f low at cart ridg e base, this paper present s numerical simulatio n of flow around car tridge w ith a 2nd-order accuracy T VD f inite volume scheme applied to solve Navier -Stokes equations, w hich is based o n Wang J. C. T scheme. Flow aro und cartr idge w ith f ree f low Ma = 3 and 5 ar e calculated, ag reeable w aves st ruct rue is o btained. The result s ver ify that the relat io n betw een drag coeff icient of base and Mach number is in a g ood agree ment w ith the ex periment . Besides high accuracy , high resolution of shock w ave, nonoscillation, the method is easier to deal w ith the boundary condition and less st rict w ith cell specif icat ion and f irst flow field parameter s ar rang ement .
