Abstract:
T his paper present s a mat rix representat ion of the SOSG mo del. T he mat rix oper at ions presented in this paper have goo d propert ies and can be used to calculate the direct ion and size in spatial lay out design. T he calculatio n o f the direct ion and size is the impor tant content in the spat ial layo ut desig n. It play s an important ro le in the layout model generat ion, the const raint check and the t ransformat ion f rom the model to the coordinate gr aph. The alg orithm presented in this paper has been successfully used in the computer st ructure layout desig n. The resul t of the research shows that the engineering problems w hich could be r epresented in graph models can be solv ed by int ro ducing appropriate matr ix operat ions.
