Abstract:
Auto fret tag e is a method to raise elast ic st rength and fat ig ue limit for gun bar rels. Sw ag e and hydraulic hav e been used in engineering . T his paper pr esent s a method of autofr et tage for g un bar rel s by rotat ing cent rifug al. It is obtained that the solut io n of elastoplast ic st ress and residual st ress for plane-st rain thick-w alled cylinder under rotat ing . The elast ic st reng th pressure of thick-w alled cy linder is r aised by r esidual st ress. The metho d of rotat ing auto fret tage pr oves it self to be an aid to pr oduce advantageous r esidual st ress by calculat ion and makes a promise o f industr ial applicat ion.
