Abstract:
This paper pr oves a characterist ic of a 1D Mobbius funct io n, def ines a 2D Mobbius function and pr oves it s characterist ic . It emphasizes on computing inverse Z t ransfo rm for 2D inf inite-length t ime domain series, that is by using 2D Mobbius funct ion and f inite values o f X( Z1 , Z2 ) sampled in unit bicircle. T hese samples are just the f inite-length 2D discrete Fo urier tr ansform. All the problems of comput ing inverse Z tr ansform for 2D inf inite-length series are transfered into quadrant 1 and discussed here. T his method is co nvenient to computer calculat ion.
