Abstract:
In this paper , ef fect s o f flex ibility o f the v ehicle-based, larg e size mult iple rocket-launcher system are analysed. An approach is pr esented to simulate the co upled vibr at ion behav io r between the rocket and launcher , and numeral solut ion is dev elo ped. The inf luence of bending f lexibility of the launch sy stem on r ocket’s mot ion at t itude and system’s dy namic char acter ist ics are discussed. Some impo rtant conclusio ns are draw n. The numerical result s are of g reat value to the at t itude co tr ol of ro cket and the design of new type long-range r ocket w eapon system.
