Abstract:
In this paper , according to the characterist ics o f w ind load and deformat ion of g lass cladding , a simple and pract ical calculat ing formula fo r w ind load o f g lass cladding is presented; the str ict calculat ing fo rmulas for w ind-induced response, w ind-induced vibr at ion force and coef ficient o f g lass cladding are established; according to the internat ional- popular Davenportps w ind spectr um, a convenient and pract ical calculat ing fo rmula for w ind-induced vibrat ion coef ficient is g iven. T hese r esul ts can be applied to the claddings made of other materals, which pro vides convenience for engineering design.
