Abstract:
T his art icle presented the tr eatment of high concent rat ion or ganic w astew ater fr om leather manufacture by the three series photosynthetic bacteria biolog ical contact ox idat io n tanks f illed w ith so ft fiber . On the basis of the ex perimental study, some conditio ns obtained ar e ex pressed as that influent COD abo ut 8 000 mg / L, dissoluble t ime 24 hour s added act ive sludg e, sunlig ht in dayt ime and lamplight or dark night , facultat ive aerobic co ndition ( DO 0. 5~2. 0mg/ L) . The small scale cont inouous process experiment result s show that the averag e removal r ates of COD and S 2- are 90. 4 % and 98. 0 % respectiv ely , remov al eff iciency o f BOD5 is more than 91. 0 % af ter 72 hours. The metho d has advantag es of r educt io n w astage of PSB cells, low er cost and simple process.
