Abstract:
A numerical metho d is presented in this paper, based on the SIMPLE scheme fo r solving the Navier-Stokes equat ions in arbit rary curv ilinear coordinates. T he method improves the pr essure modif ied equation, and ado pt s non-stagger gr id. T he quasi-steady tw o-dimensional laminar f low in solid-propellant ro cket eng ine w as simulated numerically , and the r esult show s that parameter distr ibutions in flow f ield ar e mo re complicated than these o f the t radit io nal o ne-dimensional f low f ield, and that the parameter dist ribut io ns are clearly af fected by the vortexes.
