Abstract:
T he optimum pH, dosage and eff eciency of several flocculants and cof locculants used in decolourizat ion of dye wastewater have been report ed. Other physicochemical methods in combination w ith flocculant s are also applied for this purpos e. Among them, the NaClO ox idation method is the the mos t eff ect ive. A new f locculant , Aluminum polysit icat e has been prepared and us ed in the same purpos e. T he results show it is more eff ect ive than any other flocculant s.
