Abstract:
Real-t ime analogue accumulation of low -light-level image not only can reduce the noise, but also can improve the const ras t and the brightness of the image, so it is the s implest and the mos t effect ive method t o overcome noises and improve the qualit y of the image. Being different f rom the normal digital accumulation, the technique of real-time analogue accumulat ion is presented. In this approach, the accumulation of image signal charg e can be realized direct ly in CCD charge pocket by using s toraging and t ransforming of CCD. T he low-light-level CCD camera with real-t ime analogue accumulat ion has been developed. Us ing this camera, the satisfied image can be obtained in much lower environment illuminance. In this paper, the basic principle and sys tem st ructure are introduced in det ail and the processing result s are analysed.
