Abstract:
T his paper introduces a method f or calculating the ordinary pouring sys tem section siz e of injection mold. T he rheology is the theory basis of the method that is new ly developed based on years of plas tic mold and design teaching research. By use of this method, not only the ordinary pouring s yst em section size of main pouring ways, branch pouring w ays and runners can be decided, but also the correctness of the pouring sys tem s ect ion s ize designed by experience can be t es ted. T hus the problems of plast ic mold design can be s olved and the mold monufacturing period can be short ed.
