Abstract:
A 9-meter long, 0. 14-meter inner diameter and a 12-meter lo ng , 0. 14-meter inner diameter hor izontal tube equipped w ith special spr aying sy stems and dust dispersion systems w ere used to study the shock w ave induced by flame accelerat ion o f pentane vapor and aluminum dust suspension f low . The ex perimental resul ts showed the acceleratio n pro cess of turbulent flame in the tube. Based on the tw o medium model , the split t ing scheme, MacCormack scheme and T VD scheme w er e used to solve the foundatio n g overning equat io ns o f the tw o phase react io n f low . The computed resul ts agreed w ell w ith the exper imental result s.
