Abstract:
Chao s and evolut ionar y pro gramming alg orithm ( EP) appr oach to IIR dig ital f ilter ing is presented in this paper . A random sw itching in EP is co nst ructed by a chaot ic model, in EP the mutat ion operat ion can be contr olled. T he r esult s show that new EP algorithm can be used to search fo r the opt imum parameters of a filter.
