Abstract:
T he ef fect of amo unt of phenolic resin/ HMTA on the physical and dy namic mechanic pr opert ies of natural rubber ( NR) w as invest igated. T he abr asion morpholog y of dif ferent vulcanizates w as studied by Scanning Elect ron Microsco py ( SEM) . T he r esult s show ed that hardness, 100% mo dulus and dynamic elastic mo dulus increase w ith increasing of pheno lic resin while break elo ng at ion, tear st reng th and loss tang ent ( tan δ) decreasing . T ensile st reng th, 300% modulus, abrasion resistance, aging resistance and fine ribbing in SEM of vulcanizate achieved a peak at 5 phr phenol ic resin.
