Abstract:
T his paper fo cuses o n the ef fect of adding ex panded ammonium nit rate on the combust io n and mechanics of nit ramine propellant , as w ell as the morpho logy of impact fr actured surface o btained by SEM. It show s that due to EAN f il lers, the cont inuity of the base is damag ed and a large number of interface is int roduced, hence increasing the effect iv e bur ning area at low temperature. On the other hand, the ef fect ive burning ar ea at hig h temperature becomes smaller because the special str ucture of EAN is pressed by the pr opellant base w hich is expended when heated. As a result , the burning r ate of propellant at dif ferent temperatur es are inclined to identical , thus low ering the temperature coefficient .
