Abstract:
Making use of the r elat ion betw een Pascal and binomal dist ribut ion, the metho ds of Bay esian est imat ion and test are given on the supposit ion that the animal number N has the prior dist ribut io ns——uniform and Bata dist ribut ion. It shows that the co nf idence limit and test stat ist ics are only related w ith F -dist ribut ion, so these r esult s are oper able in pract ice.
