Abstract:
This paper studies the applicat ion of higher-order stat istics in adapt ive sig nal processing f ield, and developes a hig her-order cumulants algorithm and its improvement for adapt ive ident ification of linear system, and also studies the other applicat ions in the f ield by the instance of adapt ive t ime-delay est imat ion. In simulation, the performances of the improved algorithm w ith the old one, together w ith the traditional correlation alg orithm are compared, and the simulation results are also g iven.
