Abstract:
Based on the k - ε turbulent model and the improved EBU-Arrhenius combust ion model, the phenomena that the turbulence induced by obstacles w ill accelerate flame. The influence of obstacle is considered by specifying volume and area porosity and the additional source term in equat ions. The wal-l funct ion is chosen to t reat the near w all regions and the SIMPLE scheme is adopted to solve the equat ions. The developing process during which the turbulent flow induced by obstacles is coupled w ith the combustion. The positive feed back mechanism of mutual accelerat ion betw een turbulent flow and f lame is ex pounded.
