Abstract:
In this paper, the derivat ive operator matrix method is given to calculate kinemat ic errors of spat ial linkag es on the basis of the loop matrix equation and the theory of error. T he calculating error formulae w ith simple mat rix form can be obtained by properly using derivat ive operator mat rices and related formulae mentioned in this paper. The method is especially suitable to the kinemat ic error analysis of the spat ial linkage w hich involves only R, P, C and H pairs. It is especially meaningful that the numerical calculat ions of all formulae can automat ically be carried our by a computer, thus lying the foundat ion for compiling error analysis prog rams of the spatial linkag e.
