Abstract:
Based on the t ime frequency localizat ion and approach of wavelet t ransform, a study is made on the imaging of targ et rang e prof iles of step frequency MMW radar w ith w avelet. The band-pass filtering funct ion is implemented using modulated Gaussian w avelet transform. T he signal can be orthogonalized the wavelet transform can provide the in-phase and quadrature vector. The method can obtain good range profiles. The simulative result s indicate that spect rum estimation based on w avelet transformat ion has bet ter dist inguishing rate.
