Abstract:
Based on the theory of primary color t ransformat ion, trueOcolor display technique for LED display screen w ith RGB three primary colors is put forw ard in this paper. Since the spect rum property of the three primary colors used in the color LED display screen has a great difference from that of the color television system, the same color has different tri-st imulus val- ues in the tw o dif ferent three primary colors chrominance systems. In order to reproduce the original video image object ively, the RGB signals must be processed w ith color sw itching method before sending to the LED display screen. In the paper, the color sw itching method is described in detail. T he color correct ion mat rix for a system and it s hardw are implementation is also presented. The ex periment result indicates that the chromatic aberration can be ef fect ively decreased after color correction, and the display image quality is improved.
