Abstract:
In this paper, the cont inual measure on spectral response of multialkali photocathode in the first g enerat ion image intensif ier is presented and ex periment apparatus and result s are illust rated. It is show n that Na2KSb is a stable p type semiconductor during processing . With the growth of thickness of Na2KSb, its peak response w avelength moves toward long w aveleng th region and white light sensit ivity increases thereafter. Co-evaporat ion of Sb+ Cs decreases the electron af finity of photocathode so as to obtain high sensit ivity photocathode.
