Abstract:
A kind of improved ammonium nitrate containing many micro holes is prepared throug h dissolving-vaccum crystalization technolog y w ith adding special surfactants and w ater into common ammonium nit rate, this kind of improved ammonium nitrate is def ined as ex panded ammonium nit rate. Since there are many microholes in ex panded ammonium nitrate, it possesses large specif ic area and is self-sensibilized, and its sensitivity to initiat ion is remarkably improved. The content of TNT in seismic explosive columns is decreased 50 % because of using expanded ammonium nit rate instead of common ammonium nitrate. A mathemat ical model for the prescript ion design of seismic ex plosive columns is presented. T hree kinds of prescription and explosive propert ies of oligo-TNT expanded ammonium nit rate seismic ex plosive column are g iven.
