Abstract:
Chaos theory is a new branch developed in nonlinear science f ield recent ly , the sensit ivity of chaos and the achievement of the synchronizat ion of tw o chaotic systems make it possible for chaos to be applied in secure communication. At the same t ime the chaot ic property of sea chut ter makes people begin to make new explorations in the t radit ional radar signal processing f ield w ith chaos technique. The results show that chaos technique has made great prog ress in radar signal detect ion, targ et recognition and pseudo random signal generation. Some useful results are summarized in this paper. It seems that chaos theory has good prospects to be applied in radar informat ion processing.
