Abstract:
A theoret ical and ex perimental study on realizat ion of electrotact ility has been made. The shapes and distribut ion of elect rodes are proposed to realize the f ingert ip electrotact ility. Based on the ex perimental results and analysis of typical ex ist ing st imulat ion w aveforms, a relationship betw een the parameters of st imulation current w aveforms and sensation of elect rotact ility is given. Then, the opt imum electrode distribution and stimulation w aveform are proposed, which can produce a sat isfactory tact ile representat ion.
