Abstract:
A method of absorbing barrel vibrat ion is introduced in this paper, in order to reduce vibrat ion of muzzle and enhance firing precision. The responses of muzzle w ith and without an absorber have been studied w ith assumpt ion vibration mode method , meanwhile, backseat and recoil movements are also considered, and absorbing models are established. It is conf irmed that the method of absorbing is feasible, and simulat ion test also draws the conclusion that the amplitude peak of barrel vibrat ion is canceled about 50% by sett ing an absorber on the muzzle. Theoret ic studies also test ify that the main component is the f irst vibration mode though there are many frequency components. The design of absorbers must comply with this rule.
