Abstract:
On the basis of analy zing the characteristics of rainf ields and raindrops, this paper calculates the impact ing f requency w ith Monte-Carlo method w hen PD fuze impacted by raindrops in rainstorm. The calculat ion includes the ballist ic lengths in rainfield, the fuzecs average distances betw een tw o cont inuous collision and the fuze’s average interv al between tw o cont inuous impacting . The result s have show n that the impact ing frequency is very small w hen PD fuze traverses in a rainstorm, especially to large raindrops. T hen such collisions between some large raindrops and rain insensitive devices can be analyzed as a discrete impacting . These w orks w ill be useful for the further calculat ion of the impacting distortion w hen PD fuze impacted by raindrop and the parameter design of rain insensitive dev ice of PD Fuze.
