Abstract:
Working safety is a key problem in high speed rough grinding wheels of larg e d-i ameter. Considering the variant rat io α in the circular hole radius to outside radius, the relation between the normal st resses in the radial direct ion or st resses in the circumferent ial direction and the strength of grinding w heels is analy zed, and a family of curves is given. Furthermore, the ef fect of the radial displacements ur on the w all of cent ral hole is analyzed, under the variant α, a family of curves is obtained. The result s show ed that the smaller the α is , the higher the st rength, the smaller the non-equilibrium of grinding wheel, and the bet ter the ef fect of local st rengthened, for the hig h speed grinding w heels.
