Abstract:
Based on the characteristics of diag nostic know ledge of equipment. s fault s, the hierarchy tree is adopted to represent both deep and shallow diag nostic know ledge. Then the common Petri Net is def ined extendedly. Extended Pet ri Nets are used to realize the knowledge representat ion and fault diagnosis. In fault diagnosis the uncertain forw ard reasoning based on the forward reachability analysis of Pet ri Net s is firstly carried throug h to locate possible faulty modules, w hereafter the detailed fault causes are determined in the faulty modules by using the backw ard reasoning based on Pet ri Net s’ backw ard reachability analysis. In the end, based on some diag nostic know ledg e of FMS, an ex ample is presented to show how the extended Pet ri Nets works, testify ing the feasibility of the method.
