Abstract:
This paper deals w ith the treatment of dye w astew ater by the inside-electrolytic catalyt ic ox idat ion method. The results show ed that the removal eff iciency of chemical oxygen demand ( COD) and decolorat ion eff iciency were above 95 % . The COD in the ef fluent w as less than 200 mg/ L and the colority of the eff luent w as less than 8 w hich are below the national standard for discharg e. The opt imum condit ions of treatment w ere also discussed the agitation and aerat ion t ime is 30 min, the dosage of hydrog en proxide is 0. 5 mL per 100 mL w astew ater, the dosage of catalyst is 0. 5 g per 100 mL w astew ater, the pH value is about 3.
