Abstract:
NOx removal w ith Select ive Non-Catalytic Reduct ion( SNCR) has been invest-i g ated in an ent rained-f low reactor. Under 800~ 1 200℃ , NOx can be removed by inject ing urea reductant or several ammonium-salt reductants, and urea is found to give the hig hest NOx removal efficiency. At n(N) / n( NOx ) = 1.5 , 900~ 1 000 ℃ , 2 s and by using urea reductant , 70 %~ 80 % NO remov al and 45 %~ 50 % NO2 removal are obtained, and the concent rat ion of N2O is below 7 ×10- 6. T emperature and residence time affect the rates of NOx removal and N2O formation. The optimum temperature is 900 ℃ .
