Abstract:
In order to strengthen ant-i fatigue of cold-worked hole, it is necessary to cont rol the magnitude and dist ribut ion of the surface residual stress and st rain. A photoplastic mechan-i cal analysis method is used to study the st rain and st ress distribut ion w ith or w ithout splitsleeve, based on similarity betw een model and real object . It concluded that photoplast ic mechanical analysis can really measure the stress and strain dist ribution during the process of cold compression. The st ress and strain without solit-sleeve are much similar in both x and y typical direct ions whereas it is dif ferent in case of w ith split-sleeve. The stress and st rain amount to the max imum in open sleeve, and their minimum reached under 180 ℃ . U nder extension, the cracks caused by compression w ill be of no harm to the ant-i fat ig ue life of the hole if the open split-sleeve is placed in the direct ion of the main load.
