Abstract:
Using high resolut ion imag e sampling system to recognize interference f ringes is the premise of improving the measurement accuracy of gauge block length. Based on laser interference, digital image processing technology and the FFT method, this paper analyzes and solves the problems on automat ic interference fringe processing in absolute measurement of central length of gauge block. T he system makes use of two frequency stabilised lasers to increase the i-l luminance and coherence st reng th. The fract ions of cent ral fring e of gauge blocks w ere measured automat ically at the tw o w avelengths, the interference f ringes w ere photographed w ith a CCD camera and the cent ral f ringe’ s posit ions w ere calculated w ith a computer. The method has the instrument more automatized and provides hig her accuracy in measurement as w ell.
