Abstract:
A new signal analysis method, the analysis of zero-pass rate of the signal, is demonst rated and put forw ard in this paper. It was applied to analyze and dist inguish the target signal of the acoust ics fuses. In this w ay, tank, plane, helicopter, large vehicles and human walking can be distinguished according to sound. T he disturbance caused by w ind, background noise and art ificial interference can be overcome. U nlike spect rum analysis, w ithout mult iplicat ion, the processing is made at hig h speed, its result s have no connection w ith power of the signal. The zero-pass rate curves of helicopter, tank, truck and human walking w ere given in the paper. With the aid of the method, target signal features can be ex tracted. This funct ion can be approached by simple analogue circuit, which can w ork fast, and cost less. This method can be used in the acoust ic fuses to process signal t imely. It can be used in g uard circuit of the intelligent mine system as w ell.
