Abstract:
From the view of concurrent engineering point , a new concept named life-cycle funct ion is presented in this paper w ith the purpose of integrat ing all elements of the product life-cycle at the conceptual design stage. Based on the life-cycle function, the value analysis at the conceptual design stage is also oriented to the product life-cy cle. And the analysis is performed based on a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach. The comprehensive evaluat ion system using fuzzy sets and fuzzy math theory is established to aid designers to decide the best product concept. In the end, the applicat ion of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluat ion system to a rea-l life part is illust rated.
