Abstract:
Burning rate of liquid propellant is one of the key parameters to affect combust ion property of liquid propellant . An experimental device of linear burning rate of liquid monopropellant in high pressures w as designed. The constant pressures were produced by coated propellant combust ion in closed chamber. By use of measuring velocity technology of ion probe, the linear burning rate of OTT O- Ò w as measured quantitat ively at 45~ 83 MPa. The results show that it is content w ith exponent ial burning rate formula. The burning rate coeff icient and exponent are also calculated. The result s are of great value to interior ballist ic design of regenerative liquid propellant g un.
