Abstract:
A design method of mm-w ave mixer w ith double-ridged waveguide used as sig nal port has been presented. The ex perimental results show that the VSWR of signal port is less than 2. 0 over full Ka-bandw idth and local port less than 2. 5 at 32. 0~ 38. 0 GHz. Noise figure is less then 5. 0 dB over an instantaneous IF bandw idth of 500 MHz, w hen LO f requency located at 33. 0~ 38. 0 GHz. Because the mixer has some advantages of crossed-f ield mixer, LO-to- RF isolat ion is greater than 20 dB at 26. 5~ 40 GHz.
