Abstract:
T he solid catalyst TiO2/SO42- has been perpared under different conditions. The catalyt ic propert ies of the catalyst in the g lycosidation of D-glucose and methanol, ethanol, n-butanol, n-pentanol and n-dodecanol have been studied by using TCL. The shorter-chain alkyl Dg lucosides such as methy-l , ethy-l , n-butyl, and n-penthyl D-glucosides, but no long-chain n-dodecyl D-glucoside, are obtained during reactions. The suitable condit ions of preparat ion of the catalyst to form n-butyl D-glucoside are: concent rat ion of H2SO4 = 011 mol/ L, calcinat ion temperature= 350~ 500℃ , calcinat ion time= 3 h. The amount of catalyst is roughly 6 % of that of D-glucose.
