Abstract:
A method about opt ic fiber sensor technology applied to laser dynamic-fixed distance ranging system was introduced in this paper. According to the instinctive characteristic of optic fiber that the f iber can cause the hig h precision phase shif t, the system measured the predetermined ranging distance by means of measuring the phase difference between the measuring light sig nal and the reference lig ht signal caused by their dif ferent light courses. Based on the phase demodulat ion theory, the function of opt ic fiber sensor in the system w as described in this paper. An important reformat ion to the phase demodulation system for specific environment w as introduced. T he rang ing sensit ivity and the ranging precision of the new system w ere analyzed. The advantages w ere described, and the evaluat ion of the applicat ion and development prospect of the research was g iven as w ell.
