Abstract:
Color-changing nonel tube, nit rogen, ox ygen and vacuum system w ere used to study inf luence of gaseous medium inside nonel tube on its detonat ion propag at ion reliability. Oxyg en has accelerat ing effect s apparent ly on the detonat ion propagat ion of nonel tube but n-i t rogen hasn. t. At the vacuum degree of not more than - 0. 0987MPa, stable detonat ion propag at ion of nonel tube were observed, this give a fact that nonel tube can be used as space-f light pyrotechnics. It is verified that the leading shock w aves, tunnel ef fect and enough energ y to support the w ave f ront are necessary condit ion for the detonation propagat ion of nonel tube, w hereas gaseous medium inside nonel tube is not .
