Abstract:
An invest igat ion w as concerned w ith the ef fect of alloying elements Nb, V, Cu and rare earth ( RE) modifier on the structure and propert ies of high Cr-Mn white cast iron ( 15 %Cr, 4 % Mn) by means of orthogonal matrix. T he results show that alloying element s and rare earth can refine grain, change carbide morpholog y and dist ribution, and increase mechanical propert ies and w ear-resistant properties. T he optimum chemical composit ion and heat treatment process of mult-i element low alloys hig h Cr-Mn w hite cast iron have been determined.
