Abstract:
Based on the st ructure feature of porous material w ith foam form, a simplified e-l ement model is set up. The calculation formula for the combined thermal conduct ivity of gas phase and solid phase, the equivalent thermal conduct ivity for radiat ion and total effect ive thermal conduct ivity of porous materials w ith connected-hole foam are derived by the least heat resistance principle. As compared with the experimental data f rom different sources, the calculat ion result s by formula have bet ter agreement w ith those by experiment , and reasonably reveal important ef fect of heat radiation on the porous medium heat transfer. It is simple and convenient to use the formula given in this paper, and the formula is of certain value.
