Abstract:
The principle of undergound coal gasification is explained in this paper. According to the temperature of the gasificat ion coal seam, main chemical react ions and the different coal g as composit ions, the gasificat ion process along the tunnel is divided into three zones, w hich are ox idat ion zone, reduction zone and destructive dist illat ion and dry zone. T he essay also analyses the physicochemical characterist ics of the " three zones" ment ioned above, and discusses the effect s and their relat ions of the major variables ——temperature, water flow rate, quantity and quality of blast , coal seam thickness, operating pressure and length and sect ion of the g asification tunnel on the coal gas quality. It provides the necessary basis for further probing the process of the underg round coal gasif icat ion and influence factors, predicting compos-i t ions of product gas, selecting optimistical cont rol parameters and determining suitable gasif icat ion craft .
