Abstract:
The membrane ext raction technique used to dispose TNT w aste w ater was introduced in this paper. PVDF ( polyv inylidene fluoride) hollow f iber membrane module using toluene as ext ractant w as used to t reat TNT w aste w ater. The ex periment result show s that the removal rate of TNT in waste w ater is more than 95%. Compared w ith PSF ( polysulfone) ho-l low fiber membrane module using kerosene as ex tractant , the PVDF module is more ef fective and has a brig ht future in the indust rial applicat ion. In addit ion, the key factor ef fecting mass transfer velocity is obtained by analyzing the mass transport process of toluene-T NT-w ater system.
