Abstract:
Ex periment w as made on the dist ribut ion of secondary fragments ( behind-armour debris) behind limited thickness of surface work hardening target being oblique penetrated. According to ex perimental results the relat ionship of spat ial dist ribut ion and quantity of secondary fragments w ith the impact velocity and targ et inclinat ion was established. The formation mechanism of secondary fragments are also discussed. These results laid the foundat ion for studying the damag e ef fect of the f ragments to missile w arheads, especially the damage collaboration effect of the collabrative act ion of mult iple f ragment s.
