Abstract:
4- pheny- 4- ( 1, 2, 4- triazole- 1- yl) - 3- buten- 2- one was prepared from 3 - bromo- 4 - chloro- 4- phenyl- 3- buten- 2- one by a yield of 71. 4%. Its reaction mechanism had been proved to be a three steps reaction, elimination of HCl is the first step, by the experimental results and MS data. Its derivatives 4- phenyl- 4- ( 1, 2, 4- triazole- 1- yl) - 3- buten- 2- ol and 4- phenyl- 4- ( 1, 2, 4- triazole- 1- yl) - 2- methoxy- 3- butene were also prepared. The test ing outcomes show ed they had good fungicidal activity.
