Abstract:
An ex plorative test has been made on ant-i meta-l jet properties of f iber polymer composites, ceramics and concrete composites. The test result s indicate that the polymer composites have better ant-i meta-l jet performance in comparison w ith that of the common ceramics. T he composition of materials is the main factor affect ing the ant-i meta-l jet . The act ion of the meta-l jet creates plast ic perforation for the polymer composites and britt le break for the common ceramics. T he hollow grille plates of glass f iber reinforced plast ics have better attenuat ion ef fect on meta-l jet than that of the solid plates, the penetrability of meta-l jet decreases great ly w hen sample. s thickness increases.
