Abstract:
The TBF datum of the life test of infantry weapon is analysed by using graphical methods separately with Weibull distribution, Exponential distribution, Gamma distribution, Log-normal distribution and Logistic distribution. The conclusion is that the Weibull distribut ion is the best distribut ion to describe the TBF datum of a gun among the models. The shape parameters are consistent in different researching stages of a gun. It can be taken as a common information before approval test. A small sample reliability test is feasible with Weibull model and the prospect is given, which can reduce the samples from 1/ 8 to 2/ 3 than that with exponential model. It can meet the precondition of the measurement accuracy, smaller samples and economy of the approval test of infantry weapons.
