Abstract:
The process of discharge of plasma generator in electrothermal launch begins with wire exploding, and wire resistance is necessary in numeric simulation of discharge process. In this paper, the wire exploding process is divided into five phases and the idiographic expression in every phase is given. And, a theoret ical model in arc growth phase is presented. With the addition of the PFN discharge circuit, this paper calculates the copper wire in c0 = 1 200 μF, L 0 = 25 μH and gives the results of the calculation and the analysis.
