A quant ificat ional assessment method named BAZ- 1 is applied to the hazard source evaluation of pow der and dynamite combust ion and explosion. Based on the character of the storage of pow der and dynamite, the reasonable values of the hazard coeff icient and the density coeff icient are discussed to comply w ith real situation of powder and dynamite w arehouse. The feasibility and dependability of the hazard source assessment method of pow der and dy namite w arehouse can be improved.
